GCCF works with EOC agents and county Long-Term Recovery Committees (LTRCs) to determine and respond to the greatest community needs across South Mississippi’s lower six counties: Hancock, Harrison, Jackson, Pearl River, Stone, and George.

We are grateful that public service agencies and generous individual, corporate and foundation donors trust GCCF to identify and respond to some of our community’s greatest needs.

Since 2006 GCCF has distributed nearly $24,000,000 in public and private funds for tornado and hurricane related emergency relief, to survivors of Hurricanes Katrina, Laura, Zeta and Ida and many other weather-related disasters.

Our Mission

To assist Harrison Co.’s most vulnerable residents in receiving home restoration support, in the aftermath of storms and other natural disaster events.

Services will be provided regardless of sex, race, ethnicity, creed, ancestry, national origin, color, sexual orientation, disability, or religion.

The LTRC is a local collaboration of non profit organizations dedicated to assisting individuals with disaster related needs, after the immediate relief efforts by MEMA County Emergency Management Offices are extended to the community.
